The Lord’s Kitchen was founded on Christmas Day 1988 and has faithfully fed the underprivileged, 365 days a year without closing, for 30 years. We have now served over 8 million meals in KY and have provided disaster relief during hurricane Katrina, Harvey and  other natural disasters in the US and abroad.  Due to the great need, a second site was opened at 18th and Standard Avenue on The Corner of Hope Campus. The need was so great that we launched Hope Distribution Center, a partnership with Dare to Care, to provide groceries to the community. Hope Distribution Center distributes an average of 5,000 to 7,000 pounds of food weekly. Additionally, The Lord’s Kitchen Ministries has established Hope Recovery Center, which provides critical support to those battling drug and alcohol addiction. We have also expanded our reach to include Hope Housing, which provides safe and affordable housing for displaced veterans.
